Advisory Services
Five Elements provides strategic advisory services that draw on over 20 years of technical expertise and in-depth knowledge of the Omani and GCC regulatory landscape.
Advisory Services
Our advisory support combines technical rigour, market intelligence, and practical implementation insight, enabling clients, investors, and lenders to make informed decisions, manage risk, and strengthen project bankability.
Environmental Due Diligence
We undertake independent Environmental and Social Due Diligence (ESDD) to assess project-related environmental and social risks prior to financial close, acquisition, or refinancing.
This service comprises a structured review of regulatory compliance, alignment with international standards (including IFC Performance Standards), and identification of material environmental and social risks.
Our due diligence findings inform proponents, investors, and lenders by providing risk ratings, gap analyses, and actionable recommendations, supporting transaction decisions and investment confidence.
Biodiversity Lender’s Technical Advisory
We provide specialist biodiversity expertise as part of Lender’s Technical Advisor (LTA) teams, reviewing the adequacy of ecological impact assessments and associated risk mitigation strategies.
Our advisory services evaluate the robustness of Critical Habitat Assessments (CHA), biodiversity management plans, and offset strategies, as well as compliance with IFC Performance Standard 6 and other applicable international requirements.
We support lenders in determining whether biodiversity risks are appropriately identified, mitigated, and managed through the Environmental and Social Action Plan (ESAP).
Strategic Partnerships & Business Development
We support organisations seeking to enter or expand within the Omani market through strategic advisory, regulatory guidance, and local facilitation.
Our services include market intelligence, stakeholder introductions, regulatory navigation, administrative support, and site selection advisory, helping clients establish operations efficiently and in compliance with national requirements.
