Five Elements

Environmental & Social Impact Assessment (ESIA)

Five Elements deliver comprehensive Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) services, including screening and scoping studies, regulatory and legislative gap analyses, baseline data collection, impact identification and evaluation, mitigation design, and the preparation of Environmental and Social Management Plans (ESMPs).

Environmental & Social Impact Assessment (ESIA)

Our field teams have particular expertise in designing and implementing complex, large-scale environmental and social baseline programmes across diverse and sensitive environments.

The ESIA is a core pillar of Five Elements’ service offering. It supports national environmental permitting and approval processes and, for projects seeking external finance, forms a critical component of lender due diligence led by independent Technical Advisors.

Our dedicated team of ESIA Project Managers oversees the full assessment lifecycle, including regulatory engagement, preparation of scoping reports to national and international standards, survey design and supervision, technical specialist coordination, impact assessment, and mitigation planning.

These assessments provide the foundation for robust Environmental and Social Management Plans (ESMPs), ensuring projects are compliant with regulatory requirements, aligned with international best practice, and positioned for responsible long-term operation.
